You're back!!!! I've been stalking for a new blog post! :) We drove Peter back to Pennsylvania the day of the storm and were glued to the radio to hear how things were going. Sooo glad everyone and everything seems to be ok! Missed you!
Hi, Kristi, We are back from evacuation without too much agony. When we heard that we escaped without flooding again in St. Bernard Parish, there was such a giddy feeling of relief. Everyone went from being sad, quiet, and tearful; to being jolly, joking and jubilant! Thanks be to God! I know there were plenty of people praying for us. Right now I hear the winds of "Ike" roaring through my trees. I have been praying for the people of Texas all day long. Help me pray! Love you.Terri
I am so glad you are back. Thank God things can now move forward and we are all praying for those in Texas. Thank you for the loofah seeds. I received them the same day you evacuated and have been anxiously waiting to see that you are all OK. Your chickens seem to come through fine.
Nine days without power. Wow! I love that last photo. It looks like a Little House on the Prairie scene.
