You probably could have used the "new ones are more energy efficient" rationale too. But if you cook and bake as much as I bet you do, you just need a good stove.
lucky duck! victor and i keep hoping ours bites the dust, but it keeps plugging along. oh well. it's one of those awful ceramic top electric ones that is horrible to maintain heat with ... unfortunate feature in a stove. your new one is LOVELY! Sandy
I had a question for you and I don't have your email, so I'm gonna post it here. :) What are your thoughts on Community Supported Agriculture programs? We're thinking of joining one this summer, but I wanted to see if you had any info on being part of one. Thanks.
I have to say everything does cook faster and better. Surprisingly the biggest difference is in my baking. The bread really rises and bakes much prettier and nicer now. I do cook a lot and I hope it fullfills all my expectations.
Kelly, I am not that familiar with csa's although many bloggers write about them. It always seemed like a good idea to me. You get in season fresh veggies. I imagine a family would consume veggies a lot more if they recieved them in this way rather than haveing to plan veggies in their meals and then purchase them. I bet the variety is better too.

Kristi that stove is fantastic. You deserve it as much as you cook, bake and can. I love it!
