Oh Kristi I love your post! You know how much I love birds. Gene, Kassidy and I use to go to the EBI area to see the pelicans migrate there every year. I'm definitely taking a ride down the road to shell beach today to see them! Kass and I many times drive to shell beach to sit by the water, especially when we just need to relax and think! It's a great place to think. The pictures are super super beautiful!
Great photographs. I love pelicans. I have a small, wooden carved one on my desk as I write, but I keep knocking off the edge of his beak. I guess I need to find a beach to appreciate our state bird.

We crossed over the lake a few weeks ago on the way to the airport. I had never seen so many pelicans. Wonder where the fish were?
